As part of the HubICL collection of 2018 CILMAR Mini-grant Awardee presentations, Purdue University’s Center for Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research is proud to present this video on Purdue faculty member Dr. Lata Krishnan's CILMAR-funded project, Study Abroad and Intercultural Learning. In her video, Lata takes us on the journey of her own development as a successful mentor of intercultural learning in the study abroad context. She presents data from previous faculty-led short-term programs to Zambia with two different assessments, describes curricular improvements she implemented in response to these data, and explains where this research has led her: to her current study abroad program in India that is the focus of her CILMAR minigrant project.
