Biography
Araba A. Z. Osei-Tutu, Ph.D., is a Lecturer at the Department of Teacher Education in the School of Education and Leadership at the University of Ghana. Her research interests are in curriculum studies, curriculum development and implementation, multiculturalism, diversity, equity, and inclusion in education, heritage language, and cultural transmission among African immigrants, African and Ghanaian feminisms, and postcolonial/decolonial studies in education. Her current research projects include the piloting of the Story Gathering process in the African Oral Traditional Storytelling (AOTS) Framework; State of Education in Ghana with specific focus on educational infrastructure financing; Systematic review of National Teachers’ Standards/ Supported Teaching in Schools, Teacher education, teacher identity and teacher literacy development and an applied grant that would leverage technology using Ghanaian indigenous languages for climate change education.
