Perspectives on Intersectionality

Let's start at the very beginning with the intersectionality ur-documents.

  1. Black feminism
  2. Combahee River Collective
  3. discrimination
  4. intersectionality
  5. Kimberlé W. Crenshaw
  6. perspectives
  7. racial discrimination
  8. sexual discrimination

Intersectionality is a commonly used word with a complex history rooted in law and the black-feminist-lesbian movement. In this self-learning module, we invite you to read the ur-documents from whence the term originated, to reflect on your own responses to the original rhetoric of intersectionality scholars, and then to gather with a group of colleagues to discuss and critique this important topic.
