As our society grows more multicultural, more researchers are beckoning intentional efforts and training to prepare individuals to interact appropriately and effectively across cultures. Higher education is one sector that has increased its diversity and inclusion practices to strengthen the campus community's capacity to be interculturally competent leaders and provide inclusive learning environments. Yet, limited research has investigated the connection between instructional leaders' intercultural competence and their integration of culturally responsive teaching practices. Hence, this sequential explanatory mixed method study explored this interaction among undergraduate peer-instructors involved in the Supplemental Instruction(SI) Program.
