I've used this activity in 2 settings -- in a classroom with undergraduate students and in a virtual, asynchronous module on intercultural collaboration where students are asked to complete the activity with a friend and then answer questions about it. In the in-person classroom, it set a tone of playful engagement for the day and students loved it. Based on the limited feedback I've gotten about the asynchronous module, it may be a hurdle for some students who prefer completing all activities alone.
