This is an updated version of the Commons Game, based on the theoretical ideas of Garrett Hardin and the simulation by Julian Edney.

The original Commons Game was created by Christina A. Hope and Ronald G. Stover.

This activity can be discussed in a variety of ways including what's best for the individual vs. the group, financial and economic principals, and environmental issues, such as climate change and limited environmental resources.
