This is a think-pair-share/small group activity where students work together to analyze and discuss song lyrics. The activity simulates the process of synthesizing resources. It is a fun addition to play snippets of the songs while the students are reading them. Song videos can be found on many popular video sharing sites, and analyses of the songs can be found at Songfacts.com (Links).
