Before facilitators begin this activity, they should ensure that participants understand the cultural dimension assigned to them enough to be able to correctly explain it in their own words. They might ask participants if they have any questions about their dimension or, if time permits, have each participant quietly explain the term to them before beginning (the facilitator may want to do this if they feel that they have a group who might have trouble with the dimensions).  

The descriptions provided in the Round Robin Cultural Dimensions document are from Culture Matters: The Peace Corps Cross-Cultural Workbook, which is publicly available online. Craig Storti was a collaborator on this workbook, so these descriptions are very similar to the ones that can be found in his book Figuring Foreigners Out: A Practical Guide.
