As a result of completing this reflective essay, participants will be able to: 1. Define intersectionality and briefly trace the history of the term. 2. Describe how intersectionality is mobilized in Black Lives Matter and one other contemporary social justice movement. 3. Identify a critique of the concept and reflect on whether they would apply the concept to a movement they care about.
