While this exercise is not threatening to individuals in Denial, it is also not developmental for them.  It is developmental for those in Polarization and Minimization.

Oscar winning actor & writer Tom Hanks gives the Oxford Union an acting lesson (youtube.com). In doing so, he offers an 8-word variation of  Thiagi's "Seven Words" activity with the phrase "Is there anything I can do for you?"
