As a result of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. "Identify several types of non-verbal behavior which communicate meaning and feeling to others. 2. Describe several examples of non-verbal language which differ across cultures. 3. Demonstrate one or two non-verbal behaviors which are common to another culture and describe the feelings they usually evoke in others" (Holmes & Guild, 1973, p. 16).
