While other Diversophy games may have a clearer connection to intercultural learning, ECOdiversophy does provide an opportunity for learners interested in sustainability to explore what that looks like in different parts of the world. Dialogue about differences in cultural values, norms, practice, policies and resources provides examples of "deep culture" below the water line of the iceberg model. Moreover, the game encourages participants to think about local spaces as globally connected to each other in relationships that have histories and power dynamics.

This activity can be adapted and played using an online platform such as Zoom.
