This chapter takes 17 cultural scales and applies them to the following: Management issues (decision-making, conflict, work style, employee motivation and rewards, and work priorities), Strategy issues (views on change, control over life and business, quality, and planning style), People and Communication issues (freedom versus identity; pace of life; and courtesy, protocol, formality), Reasoning Styles, and Communication Styles (rational or emotional, physical space, comfort with silence, and flow of conversation). Each scale includes a series of questions intended to engage the participant with the scale.
