The purpose of this activity is to increase students' awareness and knowledge of how eye contact (a less obvious form of non-verbal communication) may vary across cultures. Mastering recognition of eye-contact differences and incorporating it into one's behavior can be considered a capstone-level proficiency in Empathy, Communication & Self-Awareness.
