I used to teach the long version of  this exercise (25 Questions), on a bus on the way to the airport  with a group of students who were about to spend a week or more travelling together 24/7.  It was a valuable way for each student to begin to build trust with his or her assigned roommate(s).  This short version might be better adapted to helping students become online study-buddies or maybe lab partners in e-learning situations.
