As a result of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. "Recognize on-going civic action initiatives in the local community and identify the various methods or strategies being used by each." 2. "Engage in a process of recognizing and collecting evidence of civic action initiatives in the host country in order to compile a civic action scrapbook." 3. "Develop a six-month civic action plan that addresses a particular issue in [their] home community" (Ogden, 2009).
