As a result of this course, participants will be able to: 1. Increase their own self-awareness, particularly their cultural self-awareness. 2. Develop a deeper understanding of the field of intercultural communication and intercultural concepts/theories and its relevance to their own experience in the host culture. 3. Increase their ability to recognize and bridge cultural gaps. 4. Develop an intercultural leadership practice that helps them translate their culture-specific and culture-general knowledge into moment-to-moment competence.
