This tool brings together a variety of short exercise that were originally developed for learners over 18. To extend the learning, a colleague in Morocco has had success in using the 'Mapping My Cultural Values" activity (HubICL tool #363) in conceptualizing cross-generational differences. She asks them to consider whether their parents or grandparents exhibit different values than their generation. E.G. score your own values on the work sheet & then try to figure out where your parents or grandparents might score themselves. This would likely work best with students at middle school level or above &/or with students who are beginning to perceive their immigrant parents or grandparents to be out of step with their own generation's norms.

kyngve, this also reminds me of the variation to the Human Values Continuum, in which participants are asked where their parents and grandparents would stand on the continuum in relation to where they put themselves.
