I once asked a Purdue student from Florida why she came all the way to Indiana to go to school. She said that she was impressed with Purdue's College of Agriculture, and she wanted to work in the citrus industry. She was so surprised when she began her coursework and discovered that "agriculture" in Indiana means corn, soybeans, etc.--not citrus. Interestingly, she eventually married another student who became an expert in grass; his expectations for agriculture classes were totally different than hers, also.
