This is a "high face-validity" instrument -- which means it can be subject to social desirability bias and even to provoking learner disengagement. Please read the notes before choosing to use it. An instrument which measures a somewhat similar construct and which has little to no social desirability bias is the Intercultural Development Inventory or IDI; hubicl tool #113. (The IDI also can cause learner backlash/disengagement, at the individual debrief stage.)
