This is a 20-question assessment instrument. It is thus one of the few (relatively) open-source instruments which measures "Global Competence" as opposed to "Intercultural Competence". If it is used as a formative assessment, e.g. with transparency and feedback, it may help the learner become more self-aware of his/her capacity to enact ethical, engaged and culturally sensitive leadership. If used as a summative assessment it will help the instructor or institution measure outcomes of a learning  intervention or course of study.

This instrument was developed for use in service-learning contexts, but also lends itself well to diversity-learning & leadership learning.
