This is an activity I frequently use with students in study abroad and in teamwork settings. It's great for helping them visualize values as being on a continuum. It's especially great because it allows them to see how they can hold conflicting positions on the paired values continua simultaneously. Not only is it possible, but it's common. And, of course, that context matters.
