Portable Intercultural Module (PIM) created by Dr. Laura Starr, College of Science, Purdue University, and Dr. Aletha Stahl, CILMAR, Purdue University.

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. Recognize and participate in cultural differences in verbal and nonverbal communication. 2. Negotiate a shared understanding based on communication differences. 3. Examine actions for alignment with intent. 4. Recognize more than one pathway to action. 5. Demonstrate ability to make decisions that take impact on others into account.
