This research was funded by the 2018 CILMAR Seed Grant.

As part of the HubICL collection of 2018 CILMAR Mini-grant Awardee presentations, Purdue University’s Center for Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research is proud to present this video on the CILMAR-funded project conducted by a team of doctoral students (Hadi Banat, Rebekah Sims, Parva Panahi Lazarjani, and Phuong Tran) led by Purdue faculty member Dr. Bradley Dilger.  In this video, the whole team collaborates to describe the work they have done to interactively link two sets of 1st year English courses - one set designed for international students and the other for domestic students. The video describes the motivations for the curriculum revision project,  some of the theoretically-grounded changes they made to create opportunities for international and domestic students to learn from each other, and conclusions drawn from assessments of intercultural learning outcomes in the two sets of courses.
