This course, ENGR 397 or SCI 395: Semester Abroad Intercultural Leadership, was developed by Katherine N. Yngve, CILMAR, IDA+A, Dr. Kris Acheson-Clair, CILMAR, and Dr. Daniel Jones, CILMAR, Purdue University.

As a result of this course, participants will be able to: 1. Distinguish the component knowledge, skills, and attitudes of intercultural competence. 2. Accurately identify their existing level of competence. 3. Set SMART Goals for self-improvement in the intercultural realm. 4. Synthesize cultural general and cultural specific frameworks into their professional and personal future goals. 5. Defend the value of their experiential learning to a possible future employer.
