An interesting and open-source adaptation of Bennett's original 6-stage Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity, the WICS asks the learner or expat sojourner to reflect on how they have interacted with difference over a period of transition to a new culture, and then characterizes that behavior according to the model. May also be worth exploring  for use in situations such as assessing students 'cultural adaptation' to the first semester of college in a new city or a long-term service-learning experience in an urban environment. Note that it was designed for use with semester or year-abroad programs, and seems (at least to this reviewer) likely to be less useful for more curated and short-term study abroad experiences.
