I did this activity at CILMAR's PICLCoP Tool Demonstration workshop. I was not familiar with Emotion Labor before, so I really appreciated that Dr. Acheson-Clair explained the concepts and research studies on Emotion Labor before the case study activity. I think it might be interesting if the participants can discuss cultural differences on emotion labor. For example, in what context, which cultural group may be more likely to experience emotional exhaustion than other groups? Are emotional regulation strategies different in different cultures, and how?
