Powers, R. B. (1999). An alien among us: A diversity game. Intercultural Press, Inc.

Aliens Among Us is a large-scale activity, with materials, that asks groups to decide on candidates to send on an interplanetary mission. The candidates are judged on nine attributes: "sex, age, profession, health, citizenship, reason for going, positive attitudes, negative attitudes, and religion" (Powers 5).

The book seems to be out of print and is very expensive on Amazon. We recommend using your library or Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. Purdue-affiliates can contact CILMAR for materials.
