Powers, R. B. (1999). An alien among us: A diversity game. Intercultural Press, Inc.

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to: "1. Discover the variety of ways in which people differ. 2. Rethink and perhaps redefine the concept of diversity. 3. Discover and examine some of the assumptions individuals hold with respect to different groups of people. 4. Examine and reevaluate an individual's strengths and weaknesses both because of and in spite of his or her membership in a particular group. 5. Redefine and perhaps broaden the attributes that make for a contribution to a team or workforce" (Powers, 1999, p. 15).
