I used this activity as a test run for a future program. The discussions which developed from this activity were very deep and engaging. This specific activity works well with veterinary students because showing an animal living a misfortunate life will spark an emotional response from the students. The message portrayed through this activity can be applied across many different situations and can even spark conversation about the message portrayed in media versus the full and complete truth in reality. I think it is important that if you are going to lead this activity to be well versed on the environment in Mumbai, India in order to lead discussion based on the initial video. Being knowledgeable on current events will also help to inspire further discussion.
