As a result of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. Articulate how cultural values, beliefs, and assumptions inform educational systems. 2. Develop self-awareness of their own cultural values, beliefs, and assumptions. 3. "Appreciate rather than judge cultural differences and create more inclusive learning spaces" (Harvey, 2018).
